A New Era for Youth Football in Europe

The Europe VTB United Youth League (EYUL) is a new international youth football competition that will bring together the best young players from across Europe. The league will be contested by 16 teams from 12 countries, and will be played over two age groups: Under-19 and Under-17.

The Format of the Competition

The EYUL will be played in a round-robin format, with each team playing each other team in their group once. The top two teams from each group will advance to the knockout stage, which will consist of quarter-finals, semi-finals, and a final.

The competition will be played over two seasons, with the first season starting in August 2023 and the second season starting in August 2024. The winners of each season will qualify for the UEFA Youth League, which is the top European competition for youth clubs.
