Michael Howard Finley, born March 6, 1973, has etched his name in basketball history as the latest inductee into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. The former Dallas Mavericks standout, known for his versatility as both a Small Forward and Shooting Guard, has left an indelible mark on the sport.

Drafted 21st overall by the Phoenix Suns in the 1995 NBA Draft, Finley quickly established himself as a valuable contributor. His all-around game, highlighted by his athleticism and sharpshooting ability, made him a perfect fit for the Mavericks' high-octane offense.

With Dallas, Finley played a key role in the team's rise to prominence in the early 2000s. Alongside Dirk Nowitzki and Steve Nash, he formed one of the most potent scoring trios in the league.
